Job Objectives:
- Restate Financial Statements Lead the preparation and review of restated financial statements due to accounting errors, changes in accounting policies, or misrepresentation.
- Error Identification Analyse historical financial data to identify errors in reporting, misstatements, or non-compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Compliance Ensure financial statements comply with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements, including GAAP, IFRS, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) where applicable.
- Audit Coordination Collaborate with external and internal auditors during the restatement process, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Financial Reporting Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, restatements, and disclosures for stakeholders, including management, investors, and regulatory bodies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration Work with various departments (finance, legal, and audit) to gather and verify data necessary for restating financials.
- Documentation Review Maintain thorough documentation of financial restatements and workpapers, ensuring transparency and accuracy in the audit trail.
Skills & Proficiency: Technical Accounting Skills, Analytical Skills, Audit and Internal Control, Collaboration and Teamwork
Communication Skills: English, Telugu & Hindi
Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in financial restatements or a related role.
Work Location: Kushaiguda Industrial Area, Hyderabad
Workdays & Hours: Mon to Sat, 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
